Celebrate Happiness with Prym

Celebrate Happiness

Last weekend, Prym organised and hosted a rather special event. The Balloni Hallen in Cologne, Germany, were turned into a handmade fan dream world. For the brand relaunch of Prym handmade articles, Prym decided to organise a Influencer-Consumer meeting event with workshops, speeches, an influencer award and a party afterwards.

The tickets were sold for unbelievable 25€ – including hotel, food, shuttle and the event itself. I was happy to invest this money to join this event and meet many likeminded people.

A well-organised event

All in all, I can just say it was tthe best decision for me to attend. I was able to connect with a lot of sewing and handmade enthusiasts and I think its safe to say I made new friends with similar interests like me. I got to exchange with influencers in the handmade scene and experience the brand world of Prym and Burda first hand. The event just gave so much inspiration and energy for projects and the future of the handmade niche. There were a lot of takeways for me and I look forward to enjoy to share my insights and ideas with you in the future.

Handmade Outfits

Of course, I had to show off my handmade outfits for the event. I even sewed a Jumpsuit especially for the occasions. (I will put up a blog post on that jumpsuit soon 😉 ) The night before my travel to Cologne, as it was announced to be 36 °C/ 96 °F, I was fairly desperate as what to wear for the event or rather the travels and the after-party, because I was not going to give up on that Jumpsuit.

The morning of the event I did some improvements and fixed some seams on my blue palm print matching set and wore that for the travel to the event.  While traveling to the event, I seam ripped the cups of my black satin Rose Cafe Bustier to wear it over my black satin dress for the after party.  (I already know i will wear it much more like that anyways as I was barely wearing it since I made it 🙂 ). The easiest solution was for the travel back home on Sunday. The weather was announced to be much milder on Sunday so I decided to go with my two-toned corduroy Pants and my patchwork sweater vest.

I am very happy with my outfit roundup for the event and got a lot of compliments for all outfits. Especially for the Jumpsuit!
